Moving on, i will be talking about Shot/Reverse shot.
Which is mostly used in conversations in films, mostly the person who is
talking can be only seen and the other individual only the shoulder, or
even off-screen. And when the other individual starts to speak the
camera switches so its the opposite.
Technical Terminology
There
are various single camera shots, and effects which are used in every
single type of film out there, even mainstream, every minute of each
film has one of these. If you look at the image on the right, this is an
example of match on action, The lady reaches forward towards the door
handle and the camera changes and its opened.

Thirdly, i will explain the 180 degree rule. This is basically the relation between the two characters and the imaginary straight line between them, you have to make sure the camera is not changed or moved over the line or it will create confusion because the individuals may look misplaced and not in the right place. The following video explains in more detail.
Next is eye-line match, this is making the camera face the object or place of the scene where the character looks. For example, if someone shouts the characters name, the character looks back and the next shot will be off the person who was shouting the name.
Finally, there's the cut-away, this is a very effective technique. This is mostly used to show detail in a character and to take a break in the main take of the filming. For example, when the character are taking, the camera may change and show the sweat dropping off his forehead in dept. This may show that the character is nervous it builds the scene up.
